What Lviv will gain once the new Epicentr on Stryiska Street opens:
- 2,200 new jobs;
- USD 10 million of investment;
- UAH 60 million in taxes to the local budget and UAH 140 million to the state budget;
- an average salary of UAH 18,600 per employee;
- more than 2 million product lines.

It is essentially a separate retail territory with a façade more than 500 metres long and 240,000 m² of space. It is the Epicentr chain’s first such site in Ukraine, showcasing its latest innovations and technology solutions — a format so far found only in Europe. The complex will include a delivery hub, a drive arena (an open-air building materials section) and a large grocery supermarket. 60% of the goods will be made by Ukrainian producers, and each job will create 5–6 more at suppliers.
The opening matters greatly for the economy: the budget will receive substantial revenue and people will get jobs that are badly needed during the pandemic. Roman Matys and the #investinlvivregion team support the investors at every stage of the project. The opening is planned for late 2021 or early 2022.
