Enough coffee — time to work! Ukrainian group Efficient Investments and the Dutch company Mada Participations B.V. are completing the Feednova production complex in Busk, making high-protein feed additives and animal fats. Once all four lines with five cooking vessels are running, it will be the largest plant of its kind in Eastern Europe and able to take raw materials from eight regions of Western Ukraine: Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi and part of Zakarpattia.

In Lviv Region alone, 72,000 tonnes of meat processing waste were produced in 2018 with nowhere to sell it, so companies disposed of it themselves — often by burying it in forest belts and woods. That is why such a plant in Western Ukraine matters not only for the economy: it will solve many of the region’s environmental problems.
In 2020 the plant opened vacancies for a chief technologist, chief mechanic, quality engineer, sales manager, mechanic, head of logistics, electrician, C and E category drivers, process equipment repair fitter and logistics operator. Roman Matys guaranteed official employment and competitive pay.
